One of Twelve collaborate with emerging and established artists from the Asia Pacific region to produce high quality, wearable works of art and this striking silk satin scarf features the work ‘Barramundi’ by Annette Lormada.

Annette Lormada is a Nyikina and Walmajarri woman and this painting depicts Martuwarra – the expanse of the Fitzroy River that flows down through Noonkanbah where Annette Lormada grew up. The painting tells the story of the barramundi, a species native to the area, who painted themselves up and danced for ceremony.
