1. General
These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases from the Gallery Shop online. The Gallery Shop is part of the Art Gallery New South Wales and there are additional Terms and Conditions that also apply to general use of the Art Gallery New South Wales website and our online shop which can be found here:

2. Availability of items
All items listed for sale are subject to availability.
Should an item, or items in your order become unavailable prior to dispatch, you will be contacted and offered a backorder, exchange or refund.
3. Sizing and product descriptions
Sizing and dimensions are provided as a guide only. Please note that the colour of goods as shown on the website may vary slightly in real life.
Should you require additional information about an item that is not included in the product description on our website, please contact us.
4. Orders
All personal information provided to us must be correct and truthful at the time of purchase. The Gallery Shop is not responsible for missed communications, delays incurred or failure to deliver due to incorrectly supplied contact details.
Should you wish to amend or cancel an order please contact the Gallery Shop as soon as possible. We are unable to amend or cancel orders once they have been dispatched.
The Gallery Shop reserves the right to cancel orders we suspect to be fraudulent.
5. Pricing
All prices are in Australian dollars.
Prices are subject to change without notice, however you will only pay the price that is advertised for the item at the time you place your order.
Member's prices are redeemable with a current Art Gallery of New South Wales membership number only. Member discounts exclude Art Gallery publications and limited-editions.
We are unable to honour reciprocal member discounts from other galleries and cultural institutions online.
6. Taxes
All published prices on the Gallery Shop website include Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST).
GST isn't applicable on orders delivered to an overseas address. If you have specified an overseas address in your order, the GST amount will be removed at the check-out stage of your order.
If you are making your purchase from outside Australia you must pay any local duties or taxes (eg. customs or import taxes) that apply in your country of purchase.
7. Postage
Domestic shipping within Australia is charged at a flat rate of $10 per order.
International shipping is charged as a flat rate per region, as below:
New Zealand – Flat rate $30
Oceania & South East Asia – Flat rate $40
Rest of the World – Flat rate $50
8. Delivery
Orders are dispatched on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
Please allow 3-7 business days from dispatch for delivery within Australia. International delivery times vary.
All items are sent via Australia Post. A confirmation email and an Australia Post tracking number will be sent at the time of dispatch.
Please note that posters and prints are dispatched separately, and may not arrive on the same day as the remainder of your order.
The Gallery Shop is not responsible for delays incurred or failure to deliver due to incorrectly supplied contact details, or for failure to collect items from the Post Office.
9. International orders
Customs clearance may add to the delivery time of international orders. Any fees, tariffs, or duties associated with international delivery are the responsibility of the customer.
10. Cancellation
The Gallery Shop may need to cancel your order if an item is unavailable or if there is an error in the price or description of the item, or in the order. Before doing so, we will notify you and upon cancellation will promptly refund your payment.
Please note that we are unable to cancel or amend orders after they have been dispatched.
11. Returns and refunds
If you would like to return an item, please contact the Gallery shop orders@ag.nsw.gov.au
Return requests need to be made within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible for return, all items must be in original condition, complete with packaging and price tags.
Unless items are faulty, you are responsible for the cost of return postage.
We are unable to accept returns on pierced earrings, posters and prints, limited-editions and sale items.
Only once an item is returned, as we able to process a refund.
Refunds are returned to the original payment method. Please note it may take up to ten business days for refunds to clear depending on your credit card provider.
Faulty items will be replaced (where stock allows). If your item is unable to be replaced a refund will be issued.
We are unable to process in-store refunds and exchanges for online purchases.
12. Personal information
Your personal information is collected for purposes of fulfilling your order and for managing returns, refunds and exchanges.
If you have opted to subscribe to our newsletter, you will be provided with regular updates on the Gallery Shop via email. You are welcome to unsubscribe at any time.
The Gallery Shop does not store your credit card details.
