One of Twelve collaborate with emerging and established artists from the Asia Pacific region to produce high quality, wearable works of art and this versatile, double-sided, slim silk satin scarf features the work ‘Wind Blowing’ by Rosie Tarku King.
Rosie is a Walmajarri woman and her colourful and dynamic work vividly brings to life the jila (living waterhole), jili (sandhills) and jumu (soakage) of her desert homelands. ‘Wind Blowing’ is a whimsical work evoking a shower of wildflowers as they are tossed around the arid desert air on the wind.
