Sybil Andrews was an English-Canadian artist who specialised in printmaking and is best known for her modernist linocuts. Made in 1931, The giant cable portrays a team of workers hauling together to unwind a massive cable wire, in the artist’s dynamic modernist style. Part of the Art Gallery of New South Wales collection, it is available as an A3 size print, exclusive to the Gallery Shop.
