René Magritte’s paintings of clouds, hats, pipes and apples are among the most recognisable images of surrealism. Renowned for his deadpan, realist style, the Belgian artist transformed the everyday into the extraordinary, and Magritte is the first Australian retrospective of his incredible oeuvre.

Produced in collaboration with the Magritte Estate, this large poster print features the 1954 painting The Dominion of Light, which depicts the paradoxical image of a nocturnal landscape beneath a sunlit sky.
