Dangerously Modern: Australian Women Artists in Europe 1890–1940 explores the art and lives of 50 trailblazing women artists and their contribution to international modernism.
Our latest print collection celebrates key works from the exhibition and this mounted A3 print features the painting Girl with cigarette (c1925) by Agnes Goodsir. Painted in 1925 when the artist was in Paris, it features the artist’s muse Rachel Dunn, styled as the archetypal 1920s flapper enjoying her ‘café et cigarette.’
