New Zealand-based artist Francis Upritchard has achieved international renown for her idiosyncratic figurative sculptures.

Created in collaboration with New Zealand-based potter Janeen Page, Francis Upritchard’s Grumpy mugs series comprises one-of-a-kind, hand thrown stoneware mugs. Reminiscent of 1970s studio pottery, each mug features a unique press moulded face and a green volcanic glaze.
