Australian artist Ethel Spowers was best known for her distinctive, dynamic linocut prints which captured a modernist sense of movement and rhythm and often featured humorous observations of daily life. Children were a favourite subject for Spowers and Swings (1932) is one of her most playful and popular works. Part of the Art Gallery of New South Wales collection, it is available as an A3 size print, exclusive to the Gallery Shop.
