Eileen Mayo was an English artist who worked in England, Australia and New Zealand across multiple mediums including drawing, woodcuts, lithographs, tapestry and silk screen printing. Wood engraving in particular complimented her inclination to work on a small scale and her subject matter reflected her countryside home and love of nature.

Produced in collaboration with local label Tradition Textiles, this beautiful shawl features colourful detail of her work Mantis. Made from 100% wool it is light-weight and luxuriously soft, with a soft frayed hem.
