Brett Whiteley is one of Australia’s most celebrated artists, best known for his sensual and lyrical paintings of interiors, nudes and harbour scenes. In the early 1960s he shifted away from the abstractions that initially brought him critical acclaim, and began painting his model and muse - his wife Wendy Whiteley.
